Waynetown - Mrs. Ida A. Works (sic) 85 died at 3:05 a.m. Monday at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She had been in failing health for four years and had been in seirous condition at the hospital for the week. She was born near Alamo Sept 23, 1879 the daughter of William and Sarah Stonebraker Titus. She was married to Calvin Work, May 29, 1901 in Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church and Sunday School. She and her husband lived for the past 53 years on their farm four miles southwest of Waynetown. She was the last of 10 children. Survivors include her husband; a son-in-law, Henry Wood of Waynetown; a granddaughter, Mrs. Sara Booher of Rt 1, Clarks Hill; two great grandchildren, Daniel and Penelope Booher and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Works was preceded in death by a daughter and a grandson. Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 pm. Wednesday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
